Bookmarking is dead
Finding a site from my bookmarks takes me longer than simply searching for it via Google. Web applications I use frequently are automatically tracked by Safari 4’s top site feature and any content driven sites of interest live in my RSS reader anyway. Combine that with the visual history search in Safari and it just works better for me than social or local bookmarking ever did.
If I use delicious these days it is for publishing purposes only (via aggregation to Friendfeed). Looks like bookmarking has quietly died.
